Let me first say, thank you for taking the time to view my page. I hope you like the work that you have seen and are comfortable in choosing me as your photographer. I pride myself on my professionalism as well as my creativity. All of the clients I have worked with have been more than satisfied with the results of their photos. Some have even been repeat clients, a fact that I take great pride in.

Prior to each session I like to set up a phone interview at the very least or a sort of meet and greet to familiarize myself with my clients (typically at a coffee shop because I love coffee). This enables us both to get comfortable with each other and make sure the chemistry is there. Without this “chemistry” it becomes very difficult to shoot and hinders the level of creativity.

Once we’ve established a mutual rapport we will begin to focus on the details of the shoot. This can and will include, time, type, attire, level, and location (should it not be at my studio). Unfortunately I am only available in the afternoons-to evenings on the weekdays, as well as most weekends so scheduling can be tricky, but rest assured I will work around most schedules and can be very accommodating.

After we have chosen a package, time, and date of the shoot, a deposit to reserve the time must be provided. The deposit can be a payment in full or as little as 30% of the total shoot. This ensures your spot and enables me to focus all of my attention on your particular shoot. The deposit is non-refundable (I apologize for this part but once I book your time slot it closes the availability for any other prospective clients). If for some reason we need to reschedule the shoot I can accommodate the request as long as 24 hours notice is given. We are all adults and understand things happen.

The SHOOT. Here’s where the fun happens. All shoots are different and I try to keep them as fun as possible. Depending on the type of shoot, we will schedule in time for makeup and hair as well as wardrobe changes if necessary. If there is a certain type of music you like just let me know. Personally, I find music gets me into a groove and I find it helps the clients find a rhythm that they can work with. It also helps liven the atmosphere. Depending on the package choice (see the pricing page) the timing can range from 1 hour up to 3 hours. The shoots will be at least as long as you booked. Some may run longer due to unforeseen circumstances such as wardrobe malfunctions or equipment problems, however, I do try to stay within the agreed upon time frames.

The post shoot wait. Here is the most difficult part of the process, both for the client and me. For you, the client, you have to wait. This is all. But it can be very difficult to do. I will get your photos back to you. It takes about two to three weeks for the photos to be processed and shipped. Occasionally it will take more than that and I will notify you as such circumstances arise. For me the difficulty is choosing which photos I like best. This can be a very difficult decision to make as I usually end up with 80-100 solid photos to work with and must reduce the count to the agreed upon number of shots. This is a painstakingly difficult process but in the end it is totally worth it. WE will be left with a body of work that both of us will be completely thrilled with.

Thanks again for taking the time to view my page and read this short novel! I can’t wait to work with you and look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via email. I will reply as soon as I possibly can.
